One of Spencer's electives this semester is called Center Stage. It's not choir, but he what pretty much was a choir concert. They spend the semester studying jazz, which was the theme of their concert. Spencer did such a good job! He's always liked to sing, and he seemed to be having fun performing!
Pardon the rude comment, but I swear they stuck Spencer behind two of the biggest girls on stage...and he's not a big kid!
Fortunately, they moved around a lot, so we usually had a pretty good view of him!
Of course, when I tried to make a video, he was completely blocked from view, the WHOLE song...that's what I get I guess for waiting until the last song to make a video...dang it!
We celebrated Easter with the Bowler's this year! We had dinner at Kathie's house, and tons of eggs for the kids to hunt after dinner! It was so much fun!
Easter helmets
DON'T take my picture!! :D
Not knocking on the door...finding one of the last eggs hidden by the doorknob!
For dessert...Easter candy and banana cream pie! A perfect Easter!
The cars...the Skunk-mobile (Preston's black and white) and the Bombarder (Ryan's green and black).
The runner up.
And the victor!
David and the boys worked REALLY hard making their cars this year. They won a few, lost a few, and Preston got first place, but everybody had LOTS of fun!
We had these guys for all of March. The people at the Humane Society must have taken one look at these gorgeous kitties, and decided they could raise some money for them. So they are up for adoption today at the annual AHS Compassion with Fashion fundraiser, by way of a special raffle. I took TONS of pictures of these guys...partly because they needed pictures for the fashion show, partly because they were mellow enough I could actually get pictures of them...and mostly because they are so DARN cute! They really were like little super models! Here are their head and body shots I took for the media department...
Ashley
Marshall...he started out as Lily, until we realized he was a boy!
James
Misty
And Cleo (Cleopatra)
(she was my favorite, and I think I will miss her the most...although Ashley is a close second!)
Not only are they gorgeous, but they were such good kitties! We are really going to miss them!!
I think this must be a little what kitty heaven is like...kitties stretched out on a soft bed in the sun...ahhhh!
