A couple of days after Christmas we headed to Flagstaff with Kathie and Paul, and John and Rebecca and their families. One of David's very nice bosses let us stay in his house up there. It was perfect! We could sled on the golf course and we build snowmen in the backyard. We hadn't planned to, but we ended up spending NYE there. So much fun!
Our weekend digs.
Ryan is freezing to death, wet and miserable...he wouldn't even try to smile. Ha ha ha!
Megan's tiny snowman.
Drier and happy now!
Jack's snowman...I somehow didn't get a finished picture on my camera...but it had a carrot nose and everything! Super cute!
Climbing in snow caves...David really doesn't fit.
Snowball fight!
The happy snowman.
The evil snowman...built to be destroyed.
And the sad snowman...what was left of him....
Kicking back on NYE...not sure what happened to Spencer, but Ryan was manning the camera for awhile.
The week before Christmas, we had some people come over and dig a mysterious hole in the backyard. We told the kids it was to fix a pipe...they kind of clued in to that not being exactly true, but were more upset that they couldn't play in the hole than curious about what it was actually for. The trampoline showed up in a box Christmas morning, and the day after John and Paul came over and helped David install it. In-ground trampoline! Woo hoo!!
Merry Christmas! Here are the kid with their lumps of coal (made of oreos & marshmallows...better than they actually deserved!) and a few of their presents.
