This poor little kitty was SOOO sweet, and he had a sad little injured foot. His paw was pretty mangled and infected when somebody found him and took him into the AHS. They sent him home with me hoping his foot would get better, but unfortunately that's not what happened. I was supposed to have him for a 2 week recovery, after a week of his foot getting worse and worse, we had to return him for a leg amputation. :(
I didn't take Fred back after his amputation surgery, but I had hoped that we would be able to visit him again after he was recovered and before he was adopted. But he recovered faster than I expected, and when we checked on him again, he had already been adopted! He is such a good, sweet little cat, I'm so happy that he is healthy and has a new home! Now if only AHS had some new kitties for me to foster!
