Let's Just Say...

Not to Brag or Anything

I went a day and a half without sweeping my floor...this is the result...! (and silly as it it, this is actually something I've been wanting to document for a LONG time)

You know you're jealous!! (and I'm glad I don't have carpet anymore)

I Know Having Little Kids Was Hard...

I distinctly remember it sucking...I do...I also remember hoping it would get easier the when they were older. And don't get me wrong...in lots of ways it is. (I CAN'T tell you how much I TREASURE my mornings alone while they're at school) But...

Spencer and Ryan have been at each others throats for at least a week STRAIGHT...arguing, fighting, calling each other names, yelling, screaming, tattling. There has even been rolling around on the floor fighting, and sneak attacks when somebody's back is turned. They are forbidden from talking to each other, looking at each other, and touching each other (like that even works). And Preston, of course, gets dragged in from time to time. So...

Even though I know it was hard, I actually find myself MISSING this...

I painted my fingernails! I NEVER do that anymore...EVER! But I LOVE this fingernail polish!

They're already starting to chip (just like I knew they would) so they probably won't last much longer...but it was fun for a couple of days!

Wildlife World Zoo

Monday, we went to the zoo. We got there late in the afternoon, and only looked at a few animals before the kids wanted to go to the aquarium...they REALLY LOVE the aquarium!(Ryan seems to be losing his ability to smile naturally in front of a camera. The crazy smile is appearing more and more. *sigh* Another one bites the dust...)
Dinner at the Flamingo Lounge...with the awesomest kids menu EVER! It was cheap AND entertaining...it kept them busy the WHOLE time we were there!

Last Week

There was a Wizard's Battle in my backyard. I'm not going to lie...it was FRICKIN' awesome!

"Rictusempra!" "Protego!" "Expelliarmus!" (and, I'm not kidding, somebody's wand would go flying across the yard!)

I'm just glad Serpensortia doesn't actually make snakes!
