Ryan's Baptism

My baby got baptized!  When he came up out of the water, he said, "That was fun!"

 We were happy to have lots of family there to celebrate with him!

 After the baptism, my family that came from out of town came over to visit for awhile.  Ryan also had some baptism presents to open.

Easter

We had a pretty quiet Easter this year at home.  We watched conference, I made ham and rolls (one of the few meals ALL my kids like) and we had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.  My backyard is a pit (the sprinklers broke, the grass is gone, the trees died but the weeds are FLOURISHING), so I didn't take any pictures.  Just gave everybody an allergy pill and sent them out to hunt Easter eggs in the weeds!

A Close Call

Saturday night when I was filling Easter eggs with candy, something terrifying happened....  A jellybean ESCAPED from the bag!!

 Fortunately for me, my kitty is a mighty MIGHTY huntress...she killed that jellybean...she killed it GOOD.

Then she plopped herself down to keep an eye out for any further jellybean invasions.

Apparently, Reeses peanut butter eggs are not as scary as jellybeans....

Spring Break

We didn't do much...I slept in, the kids played outside (with Ryan's birthday presents, squirt guns and water bottles), trashed the house, ruined the kitchen table and tried to kill each other.  Thursday we got out of the house and went to see How to Train Your Dragon...our first 3D movie.

 GREAT movie!!  And the 3D glasses were pretty stylin' too!
