Parking was terrible, and there were lines for the elevators...but our hotel was AMAZING! We had a great bay view, and city view. The kids were excited all morning watching all the boats in the bay!

It was a little cold...some of us got a little burnt...and the flies were a little disgusting (at times)...but still...what a GREAT day!
I don't really like swimming that much (I know...I live in the WRONG place for that!)...especially swimming at public pools. Thank goodness for the blow up pool! It is a pain to keep clean but it keeps the kids entertained, sometimes for HOURS, which helps me keep my sanity. And not going completely insane is always my NUMBER ONE summer goal!
Preston's 10th birthday...we went to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch with cousins (and presents from aunts :), barbecued hamburgers for dinner, and his birthday cake was chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and Kit Kats!
He got a present that was just too big to wrap...
...and he LOVED it!
The candles were kind of cool, the flame was the same color as the candle!
Even though he didn't get any turtles, I think he still had a pretty good day!
